Wilkes University’s (Wilkes) comprehensive bachelor of science degree programs in engineering emphasize experiential learning, hands-on experience in specialized laboratories and cooperative learning environments. Majors include applied & engineering sciences, electrical engineering, engineering management, and mechanical engineering. The environmental engineering major is housed in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences.

Students majoring in applied & engineering sciences are able to pursue a range of interdisciplinary subjects such as medicine, materials science, nanotechnology, sound recording, artificial intelligence and broadcast communications.

Wilkes recognizes that knowledge of concepts is only as good as the ability to apply them.
