Pennsylvania College of Technology's plastics and polymer engineering technology program runs a mobile plastics lab that travels to high schools to expose students to the plastics industry.

Students from Bluefield State College's School of Engineering Technology and Computer science just won the world championship "Autonomous Challenge" race at the 2008 Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition in Oakland, Michigan. They defeated teams from more than 30 other institutions, including Georgia Tech and the University of Hosea, Japan.
100 % of 2006-07 graduates from the Engineering Technology program at University of Wisconsin - Stout were employed, with an average salary of $46,000.
