BEFORE YOU APPLY
Before you apply for your American student visa, you will need to have been accepted by a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved high school, university, community college, Christian college, career college or graduate school. The school should provide you with USCIS form I-20 A-B/ID, which you will need to fill out completely.

You will need to make sure that you can demonstrate the ability to support yourself, and any family members who may accompany you to the US, for the duration of your stay, and provide return travel to your country of origin.
