ALL BOYS SCHOOLS
All-boys high schools offer international students an alternative to traditional co-ed public schooling. These are part of the private school system, and provide a single-sex educational environment for young men.

One of the benefits of all-boys high schools is a structured, specialized, encouraging environment free from the potential pressures of a co-ed classroom. Students also benefit from the opportunity to build mentoring relationships with involved and dedicated teachers and staff who provide boys with positive role models. Single-sex schools offer the chance for teachers to nurture boys' strengths and directly address their challenges; the learning environment aims to balance exploration and development with discipline, so that students can excel both academically and personally.

In the USA, some all-boys high schools are boarding schools, some are day schools, and some offer both options. All-boys schools may be secular, or they may have a religious affiliation, and most require uniforms. Like all private high schools, all-boys schools are under the jurisdiction of the state department of education, and offer education that meets or exceeds state standards. All-boys schools have some of the highest academic standings in the country.

Like most internationally accessible high schools in the USA, all-boys schools often offer English as a second language training options. International student tuition may range from $10,000 to $50,000, depending on the individual school and whether the student boards with the school or with a homestay family in the local community.
